If no data management plan exists for your project, you will now have to decide how to tackle the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Which kind of documentation will be generated for your research data?\n<ul>\n<li>What kind of <a href=\"https:\/\/datawizkb.leibniz-psychology.org\/?page_id=128\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metadata<\/a> will be collected? Do you apply any metadata standards?<\/li>\n<li>Are <a href=\"https:\/\/datawizkb.leibniz-psychology.org\/?page_id=135\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">controlled vocabularies<\/a> employed?<\/li>\n<li>Will you create <a href=\"https:\/\/datawizkb.leibniz-psychology.org\/index.php\/during-data-collection\/what-should-i-know-about-codebooks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">codebooks<\/a> in order to document tabular data? What kind of information will be captured in these codebooks?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>How will you handle files that are generated within this project?\n<ul>\n<li>Which <a href=\"https:\/\/datawizkb.leibniz-psychology.org\/index.php\/during-data-collection\/what-should-i-know-about-file-formats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">file formats<\/a> will be used?
